CHAPTER 11

Nico decided that it was all or nothing. He wanted to try to convince Tania to come back to him. They went out on a date a few weeks ago and ended up getting into another argument. He missed seeing her beautiful face. He thought that shit was back on track until Cara’s ass started calling him back to back and it started to irritate the fuck out of Tania. She had agreed to let the kids spend half the week over at his house. He was on his way to pick them up for his time, but he had other plans. He wanted to try just one more time and then he was giving up. If Tania wasn’t receptive to his attempts then he was backing out and moving on with his life. Tania and the kids had been gone out of the house for almost eight months now and shit was getting lonely.

Nico had gone to the local florist and got Tania’s favorite flowers, pink roses. He had purchased two dozen of them. On the drive over to her house he thought about what he was going to say. He was originally going to give her a speech, but decided to just speak straight from his heart.

He pulled up into her driveway and grabbed the roses and walked up to the door. He rang the door and heard Mina’s little voice over everyone. Nico smiled at his daughter. She was just the tiniest little thing but had the biggest personality. Nico stood there as he waited for someone to open the door. He heard the clicking of something on the floor coming towards the door and he just knew that it was Tania.

When she opened the door he had a little smile on his face, she looked at him like she was shocked to see him standing there but then she had a little upset look on her face when she saw the flowers. Tania looked from the flowers up to him with a scowl on her face.

“What are those for?” she asked as she crossed her arms. “I got them for you” he said as he held them out to her. She looked down at them again and turned around and called the kids so that Nico could get out of her face. Nico laughed at her. She was really something when she had that little attitude of hers. He followed her into the house.

“Daddy, daddy. I told mama you come over today. See mama. There go daddy” Mina said as she jumped into Nico’s arms. He picked her up and gave her a tight hug and kiss. “How you doing princess? I miss you” Nico said. “I miss you too daddy. Who you get the flowers for? They are pretty” Mina said looking down at the flowers.

“I got them for your mama” Nico said looking over at Tania. She was still giving him the evil ass eye. “Give them to her daddy. Mama likes flowers. She will be happy and then she give you kiss and we can come back to live with you” Mina said.
